Cheese Steak Fries

It’s football season! Time to enjoy the fall weather and Fall food. These are a perfect snack to enjoy with your friends and family. You can enjoy fun food and still stay on track with these nutritious cheese steak fries!

 

Ingredients:

1 cup Sweet Potato Fries (Alexa brand is gluten free)

2.5 oz Sliced flank steak or chicken

⅓ cup frozen pre sliced onions and pepper blend

1 tbsp fat-free shredded cheese

1 tbsp Light thousand Island dressing drizzle on top

Optional to add jalapenos or pepperoncini


Directions:

  1. Warm air fryer to 400 degrees. Once warmed, place frozen sweet potato fries inside and air fry for 4-5 minutes or until done.

  2. Heat oil in medium skillet over medium-high heat. If using bell pepper and onion, sauté for 1-2 minutes or until soft.

  3. Add in the thinly sliced meat. Heat for 4-5 minutes or until browned and fully cooked

  4. Once fries are cooked and crisp, add to plate. Top with cooked meat, onions, peppers. Sprinkle with cheese. Drizzle with thousand island dressing. Optional to add jalapenos or pepperoncini peppers.

  5. Enjoy with your family, friends, and football!
